31: "The Master's Ewe Lamb" - Session 3, Part 4
Blah, Blah Sheep ...
“Have you anything to say? Yes sir, yes sir—who’s good enough?"
Now that we've learned the power of blessings and curses, and the awareness of what's going on with our minds, we'll now see how our word choices and phrases can shape us, or the effects they have on others.
If you'll remember, the title, "Blah, Blah Sheep," is being used for the entire section. Thus, the meaning of the word, "blah" means dull, lifeless. So then, how often have we...

BLAH-BLAH SHEEP
"Have you anything to say? Yes sir, yes sir—what’s
there to ‘think’ about my character?”
You have just seen the dangers of speaking curses, or
harboring harm toward someone. Yes, we’ve learned that
rather than extending our love or blessings upon
anyone, even our enemies, curses can actually be
reverted back upon us.

Session 3: Blah-Blah Sheep …
Have you anything to say? Yes sir, yes sir—whom shall I bless? … Or rather, shall I curse?
Everyone upon the entire planet should be “blessed”.
“Wha—everyone? Even those who are mean-spirited? What about those who have been against me, or my loved ones?”
It may seem a rather hard thing to do, but “yes”.
I have been fascinated by the incident that took place with our first martyr of the Christian faith being stoned. Not fascinated by the death expressed for Stephen (Acts 7:59; 8:2) of course; but while the persecution of this faithful disciple appeared to be a grotesque phenomenon, something else miraculously happened that day. Not only, under his dying breath, had Stephen took a glimpse at our Heavenly Lord standing for him, but found the strength to utter a powerful blessing upon those who were persecuting him as well.
Stephen must’ve known to …

Session 3: The Blah-Blah Sheep
Have you anything to say? Yes sir, yes sir—three mouths full!
Now that we’ve absorbed the main essentials with developing our interior (will, mind and emotion) transformation in Christ, let us now focus upon the importance of our external (physical / carnal) nature. Although the Bible expresses the measure of God’s favor upon us by what’s on the inside, I believe the next best thing for us to be concerned about during our walks with the Lord is ... Ladies, are you ready for this one? ... Our mouths.

Part 3 - My Milk
Now that we’ve been given a new birth in Christ, we need new formula. Before we were reborn, we thrived on goat milk, nutrient that belonged to the world, and bitter to the soul. We’ll now be nourishing the taste of the Lord’s. As newborn babies, wobbling a little as we try our best to stand, Satan (and may even the Lord) will try us through many challenges.
“…like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord” ~ 1 Peter 2:2-3

Part 2 - Why the Holy Spirit?
Let's say we've just become the child of God, and not sure what to do next. If we'll think a minute, before we became a child of God, our old nature had been led by the unseen prince of darkness, whose strategy was keeping us away from God's Truth (and into eternal damnation). But now that we've received God's Son, Jesus, and His Redeeming Blood, the Gift of the Holy Spirit has been given to us. Through the guidance of this precious Gift, our Counselor, we are no longer blindsided. I'd like to say it this way, we are able to distinguish "any old wolf in sheep's clothing". The Holy Spirit is our Helper, in Whom we can rely on during our walk with Christ.

Part 1 - I must find my way
While collecting the notes for this study, it had been quite difficult for me to return to the soiled grounds, at a time before I fully yielded to the Good Shepherd's path. Those were the days that held memories I haven't been proud of. As I reviewed my past, I came to grasp the fact that I wasn't only a defected little sheep physically - but on my way of being damaged spiritually. Did you know the Bible's metaphoric meaning of "a lost sheep" means being "without God"?

Session 1: The Black Sheep
My birth defect-Who's lurking behind the bushes?
If you’ve seen “My Testimony” upon entering the CWR “Bible Study” Network, then you’ve already learned a little about me. During my childhood, I found it difficult to associate with others due to my hidden handicap. It was hard to make friends because of the difficulty in engaging in conversation with others due to my deafness. I had few friends of course, but they favored my sister, who was a year younger than I. Apprehension and fear would arise within me around new people because I could tell they could easily pick up on my unusual speech.
39: "The Master's Ewe Lamb" Introduction
First off, I’d like to thank our sweet and precious Founder of Christian Women’s Resources, Lori Arriaga, for having faith in me to carry out the women’s Bible in her network. My love and devotion toward this ministry is to hopefully reach out to all women across the globe, young and old, who are perhaps experiencing peer pressure, depression and low self-esteem, hormonal fluctuations to relationships with our boyfriends / husbands. Let us sheep, like little Ewes, go hand in hand, and lag behind the Good Shepherd as we follow Him across His green pasture. While He opens the gate, let our eyes view The Shepherd’s values in each of us — our God-given destiny to become “The Master’s Ewe Lamb”.
I’m excited to say, that through fervent prayer and amazing spiritual insight, I chose the title
“The Master’s Ewe Lamb” for CWR Network’s Bible. Not only am I thrilled to find that a “ewe lamb” means to be “one’s most cherished possession”, but reminded of Christ’s gentleness through this beautiful Scripture …
40: The Curve Ball
And then life throws you a curve ball……
After twenty four years with the same company, my husband lost his job. Until the actual pink slip “arrives” you live in the world of denial or think it is some kind of huge mistake. The family emotions range from depression to rage, hopefulness to hopelessness, or resentment to gratitude.
Little is said.
Sleep is difficult.
