Squaring off with Delaware Senator Joseph Biden, Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin shined and proved once again that she is the best choice for the GOP in today’s climate of woefulness about the outgoing administrations legacy.

With apostasy (falling away) running rampant in the church and PC’s impassioned call for diversity and tolerance in religion what are the implications for America? Let’s see.

In a recent online conference meeting I was asked to speak to a group of Christian women. I chose as my subject the four reasons we don’t study the doctrine of the second coming of Christ very seriously or extensively. The reasons are rather simple and have a great deal to do with human nature. The same reasons can apply to both the lack of study in the believer and the lack of belief found among people in general. Briefly stated they are as follows.

As always right after any election the phrase “the American people have spoken” is being resounded profusely. Given that only forty percent of Americans have voted and of those the disenthralled, the unlearned and the well coaxed make up a goodly percentage of the voters, some are more willing to say “the American people have regurgitated.”

It is said that an expert is only a man from out of town with a brief case. Can the church live in this cycle of inactivity followed by forced fire. The answer is an unequivocal no, but even more so as we approach the coming calamities of the “Last Days.”

As Americans viewed the history channel’s piece on the antichrist they heard the narrator ask the question, is the re-birth of Israel in 1948 really the ultimate sign of the end of the world as we know it. With full blown skepticism the commentator proceeded to show how it might be, but it could also be an overrated notion of the preachers, theologians and eschatologists.
