Personal Review:
"Becoming You" by Anna Symonds is a great book/guide that helps women begin to find their purpose in life by learning to not only see ouselves as God does but truly accept ourselves for who God has made us to be. I especially like the resounding theme of the book that reminds us how we are FREE. Free to become, Free to Dream, Free to have a Vision, Free to Be Able, Free to Succeed, Free to be Wholehearted and last but not least Free to Enjoy! All too often we let our fears, our pasts, our responsibilities in life as well as other people hinder us from truly being free to become ourselves - who God has made us to be.
I recommend this book not only to women who want to begin their search in finding their purpose in life and learning to accept themselves for who God has made them to be but also to those that are well on their way and already feel confident in who God has made them to be as it is a lifelong journey and great reminder to us as the enemy and the world around us all too often tells us to think the exact opposite of what God says about us.
